How do you calculate row spacing?
The sun declination is symbolized by δ(equal to the latitude of the point of direct sunlight)
Latitude of the observed earth symbolized byφ(Both declination and latitude are positive in the north and negative in the south) Then H = 90°-|φ-δ|
The height Angle reaches its maximum at noon, the height Angle reaches its maximum at 90 degrees.To find the height Angle of a place, you need to know the latitude of the direct point (i.e., the declination of the sun), and to know the latitude of the measured place, you can calculate the height Angle of the place at noon, and the height Angle of each time.
Once the height Angle is known, it is easy to calculate the array spacing, as shown in the following figure.
